Mountain Song is the most personal product in the Summer Solace range. Founder Megan Bre Camp drew directly from her ancestral roots in the highlands of Vietnam and her upbringing in Alaska - the mountains, the forests, the particular quality of light and air at elevation - to create a scent that is grounding, complex, and deeply evocative of landscape.

The oil base is one of Summer Solace's most botanically rich: regenerative suet tallow from Stemple Creek Ranch as the nourishing foundation, rosehip oil for gentle skin renewal and its natural retinol precursors, borage oil for its high gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) content that calms and restores skin barrier function, jojoba and argan for softening and balance, castor oil for deep nourishment and glide, olive squalane for its silky non-greasy absorption, and Japanese camellia oil - a warming, antioxidant-rich oil with a centuries-long place in Japanese beauty traditions - for a finishing layer of protection and luminosity.

The aromatic profile is where the oil earns its name. Grounding vetiver anchors the blend in earth and rootedness. Lush gardenia brings a rich white floral depth. Petrichor - specifically Somali frankincense Occulta - adds the particular scent of rain-soaked stone and earth that is one of the most transportive aromas in natural perfumery. Animalic honeysuckle gives warmth and sweetness. Sacred Indian sandalwood closes the blend with its creamy, woody, meditative depth.
