Details
Fire cider is one of the oldest folk remedies in the Western herbal tradition. Herbalists have been making versions of it for centuries - pungent, warming roots and spices steeped in apple cider vinegar, taken in small doses to stimulate circulation, stoke digestion, and ward off illness. Wooden Spoon Herbs' version is that tradition made with certified organic ingredients and a level of care most home-brew versions never reach.
The formula is built on organic apple cider vinegar and organic honey as the base, with ten organic botanicals: ginger, garlic, onion, horseradish, rosemary, thyme, cayenne, and lemon juice. Every one of them has a long history of use for digestive and circulatory support. Ginger moves blood and warms the body. Garlic is one of the most broadly strengthening plants known to herbalists - cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, and immune all at once. Horseradish opens the sinuses and supports the respiratory system. Cayenne fires up circulation and metabolic warmth. The apple cider vinegar base brings its own prebiotic and digestive properties.
The result is sharp, tangy, warming, and unmistakably alive. Take it straight, dilute it in water, or use it the way cooks have always used it - in dressings, marinades, and broths. USDA certified organic, 1% for the Planet, woman-owned.
