Mouth breathing during sleep is one of the most common and least-addressed reasons people wake up tired.
When you breathe through your mouth at night, your body bypasses the nose - which filters air, warms it, and triggers the production of nitric oxide, a compound that improves oxygen absorption and supports cardiovascular health. Mouth breathing also dries out the mouth and throat, increases snoring, and disrupts the deeper stages of sleep where the body does most of its repair work. The fix, in principle, is simple: keep the mouth closed.
Zenzentape's Evergreen Mouthtape is a single-use strip made from organic bamboo silk - a naturally soft, breathable, antibacterial fiber - with a medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive that holds securely through the night without pulling or irritating the skin. It creates a gentle seal that encourages nasal breathing without restricting airflow, and removes cleanly in the morning.
30 strips per pack. Designed for nightly use.
Benefits:
• Encourages nasal breathing during sleep - the body's natural pathway for oxygenation and recovery
• Supports deeper, more restorative sleep and steadier energy on waking
• Helps reduce snoring and dry mouth caused by mouth breathing overnight
• Made from organic bamboo silk - soft, breathable, and naturally antibacterial
• Medical-grade hypoallergenic adhesive - holds securely without skin irritation
• Works with or without facial hair
• 30 strips per pack - one month supply for nightly use
How to Use:
Complete your full evening routine before applying.
1. Peel back the backing strip and apply the tape to dry, pursed lips. Press gently and hold for a few seconds to secure.
2. Sleep as normal. The tape holds through the night and is flexible enough to move with your mouth if needed.
3. In the morning, peel down gently from the top to remove.
For best results, use every night. If you are new to mouth taping, start with shorter stretches - an hour before bed with the tape on while awake - to build comfort gradually.
Note: do not use if you have nasal congestion, difficulty breathing through the nose, or after consuming alcohol or sedatives. See full safety guidelines below.
Care:
Single use. Dispose of after each night.
Store in the resealable pouch away from heat and humidity to preserve adhesive quality.
Safety note: mouth tape is not recommended for individuals with a BMI over 35, those using a CPAP machine, or anyone with severe heart, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions. Avoid use during illness, sinus infection, or if you have severely chapped or broken skin around the mouth. Consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns before use.
