Most cleansing bars - even ones marketed as natural - use sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) for lather. It cleans well, but it does so by disrupting the skin barrier, which is why so many people who use SLS-based products end up with dry scalps, tight skin, and that squeaky-clean feeling that is actually a sign of over-cleansing. Bare Bar uses two SLS-free coconut and plant-derived cleansing agents instead: SCI (sodium cocoyl isethionate) and SLSa (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate), which produce a rich, creamy lather without the irritation.

Organic aloe vera and organic hemp seed oil keep moisture balanced throughout the wash. Organic rice bran oil, yucca extract, and a gentle chamomile and calendula botanical blend nourish and soothe. Organic geranium and lemon peel oil give it a clean, light scent - nothing synthetic.

How to Use: 

Wet hair or body with warm water.

Work the bar between your hands or directly through hair to build a lather.

Massage gently through scalp and hair or across the body.

Rinse thoroughly.

Hair tip: for best results with bar shampoo, ensure hair is fully saturated before lathering, and rinse with cool water to seal the cuticle.
