The tallow base is wild bison - Regenerative Organic Certified, grass-fed and finished, with the skin-compatible fatty acid profile that makes tallow more effective than most conventional moisturizers at restoring the skin barrier. Into this base Wild Mamas has assembled an unusual and genuinely effective combination of anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Blue tansy (Tanacetum annuum) is the ingredient that gives this balm its distinctive character - and its name. The deep blue color comes from azulene, a compound formed during the steam distillation of the flower, which is one of the most well-documented topical anti-inflammatories in botanical skincare. Blue tansy specifically targets the redness, heat, and reactivity associated with rosacea and inflammatory skin conditions, calming the visible signs of inflammation without irritation.

Australian emu oil penetrates at a deeper level than most plant oils, carrying the balm's anti-inflammatory compounds further into the skin while delivering its own exceptional omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acid profile. New Zealand Manuka honey at 830+ MGO is high-potency medicinal-grade honey - the methylglyoxal content at this level provides genuine antibacterial and wound-healing properties, and its humectant nature draws moisture into the skin while its enzymes and antioxidants support healing and clarity. How to Use:

Apply a small amount to clean, slightly damp skin.
Warm between fingertips and press gently into the skin - do not rub aggressively on inflamed or reactive skin.
Can be used on the face, neck, and under-eye area.
Use morning and/or evening as needed.

For rosacea and reactive skin: start with a small amount on one area of the face and allow 24-48 hours to observe how your skin responds before applying more broadly.

A small amount goes a long way. Tallow-based balms are concentrated and absorb fully rather than sitting on the surface.
