Dry brushing is one of the simplest, most effective things you can do for your skin - and doing it with your hands gives you the most intuitive control of any tool.
LENI's Scrub Mitts are natural woven sisal worn directly on the hands, allowing full-body dry brushing with the kind of direct pressure and sensitivity that no handled brush can match. They cover the legs, arms, stomach, chest, and any area the hands can reach naturally - following the contours of the body as you move rather than working around them.
Dry brushing as a practice has roots in ancient Greek and Native American traditions and is based on a simple principle: physical stimulation of the skin's surface activates the blood vessels, nerve endings, and lymphatic vessels that sit just beneath it. The result is better circulation, improved lymphatic drainage, and a form of cellular wake-up that leaves the skin feeling brighter and the body feeling lighter.
Natural sisal. 8" x 4" per mitt, 34g each. 1 pair included.
Benefits:
- Direct hand control - worn as mitts, giving precise pressure and direction across the full body
- Stimulates blood flow - physical stimulation of blood vessels and nerve endings boosts circulation
- Supports lymphatic drainage - activates lymphatic nodes and vessels just below the skin's surface
- Cellular regeneration - supports the skin's natural detoxification and self-renewal processes
- Exfoliation - removes dead skin cells, leaving skin lighter and brighter
- Energizing - particularly effective in the morning
- Natural sisal - firm enough to stimulate, gentle enough for most skin types
How to Use:
Put on the mitts and use on dry skin before bathing.
Start at the feet. Scrub the bottoms of the feet, between the toes, and up the legs in long, smooth strokes. Always brush toward the center of the body and upward toward the heart.
Move to the arms - start at the palms, between the fingers, and brush up the arm toward the heart.
On the stomach and underarms, use a gentle circular clockwise motion.
Give extra attention to: backs of the knees, inner thighs, elbows, and back of the neck - these areas often hold more stagnation.
Rinse and apply a body oil or moisturizer afterward. Pores are open and absorb more effectively immediately after scrubbing.
Frequency: daily before bathing works well for most; weekly or bi-weekly is also effective. Listen to your skin.
