2 Nourishing Kitchari

Kitchari (kitch-a-ree) is considered one of the most nourishing and healing foods in Ayurveda. The humble yet powerful combination of rice and beans are staples globally – they represent survival itself. In kitchari, mung beans and basmati rice are slow cooked with loads of water to create a deeply hydrating, protein rich meal that is a brilliant conduit for the medicine of spices.

2 Mama’s Mung Bean Soup

Jade & Ginger Congee
