Dr. Janeen Locker - the licensed clinical psychologist behind Daughter Alchemy -formulated this nurturing oil for grief, for the slow work of restoring trust after rupture, and for the practice of bringing compassion to yourself when that is the last thing that comes easily. She uses it herself for those purposes. The formula holds that intention in every ingredient.

The blend is built around three of the most precious florals in botanical perfumery and aromatherapy. Organic white rose absolute - Rosa alba - has a long association with the heart in both traditional and clinical use: soft, opening, and deeply comforting. Organic tuberose absolute is one of the rarest materials in natural aromatics, with a rich, warm, slightly honeyed quality that is almost physically enveloping. Organic neroli - distilled
from bitter orange blossom - is calming and deeply soothing to the nervous system, with a particular affinity for grief and emotional pain. Australian sandalwood grounds the blend, giving it warmth and depth.

About the Maker

Daughter Alchemy was founded by Janeen Locker, PhD - a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience who formulates aromatherapy blends as tools for emotional regulation and wellbeing. She began hand blending essential oils for mood while going through a difficult period herself, drawing on her training in aromatherapy and her deep understanding of how scent connects to the brain's emotional center. Every product is made by hand in small batches, with the intention that each ingredient be healing for the mind, body, and spirit.
